Fool proof buttercream

Recipe

2 cups unsalted butter (1 pound or 452 g)

8 cups powdered sugar (2 pounds or 907 g)

1-2 teaspoons vanilla (5-10 g)

3-6 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream  (45-90 g)

Pinch of salt (enhances the flavor!)


Instructions

With a stand mixer or hand mixer your gonna need this not unless you want your arm to fall off 😬

Mix softened butter until it’s nice and fluffy this takes about a min or two.

Next add your powered sugar on low SPEED ! A little at a time I always make a mess 😒

Then add a pinch 🤏🏼 of salt to brighten the flavors.

Once its been mixing for a few minutes add in 3-6 tbs of heavy whipping cream, one at a time !

Mix again for a min or two

Then the final step add the vanilla

And mix again for a min

Your looking for soft peaks

If it’s to runny add a little powdered sugar at a time to achieve desired consistency, if it’s to stiff add a bit more heavy cream.

And there you have it a simple fool proof buttercream !
