Hibachi Steak and Fried Rice Recipe

INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 tsp garlic

1 1/2 tsp grated ginger

Soy sauce

2 tbs butter

1 tbs sesame oil

Olive oil (for sautéing steak)

Salt

Pepper

Garlic powder

2 cups rice (cooked and cooled)

2 eggs

1/2 cup peas and carrots(frozen)

4 thick cut bone out NY steaks

2 zucchini’s

1 onion (white - brown - it don’t Matter)


Directions


FOR THE STEAK

Season steaks with salt ,black pepper and garlic powder (to taste)

Splash on some soy sauce

(Your gonna need a large pan if you want this to be a one pan meal)

Get your pan nice and hot and drizzle some olive oil to sauté your steaks. (Cook to your liking) once done set aside on a plate and allow to rest.


VEGETABLES


Next in that same pan add in your sliced onion and zucchini. Season with 1/2 tsp of garlic and 1/2 of ginger and sprinkle in some soy sauce. Once the veggies are done take them out and set aside. (Now you can chop up the steak into cubes)


RICE


In the same pan add 2 tbs butter , once butter is melted add in 2 cups cooked cooled  rice !

Give it a mix and add in 1 tbs garlic 1 tbs ginger 1 tbs sesame oil and soy sauce ( to your liking)

Once rice has browned a bit move it to one side of the pan and add in 1/2 cup frozen thawed peas and carrots. Incorporate the peas and carrots into the rice.

Move the rice (again) to one side of the pan and add in two eggs that have been scrambled in a separate bowl (raw not cooked) and start cooking the eggs , once eggs have finished cooking mix everything together.

And your rice is done.

Plate it up do some fancy tricks and there you have it Hibachi steak and fried rice !
