Pot Roast

Ingredients

3 lb chuck roast

1 au jus package

1 beef gravy package

1 onion

4 large carrots

5 celery stalks

Salt

Pepper

Granulated garlic

Worcestershire sauce

Olive Oil


Directions

Season Roast with salt,pepper,granulated garlic and Worcestershire to your liking.

In a Dutch oven heat a few tablespoons of olive oil, sear roast on each side until browned, usually 5 min each side. Once browned take the roast out and set it aside. Now to that Dutch oven add in your chopped onion and celery and cook for a few minutes. Next your gonna add in the roast to the onion and celery. Add in your au jus that has been mixed with water , follow directions according to label, and add that in. Cook covered on low for 2 hours, keep a eye on it ! After 2 hours add in your carrots , season to your taste with more granulated garlic , black pepper and Worcestershire. Then your gonna add that gravy package , make the gravy according to the label ! Allow to cook up for another hour , the roast at this point should be tender and shredding up without a problem. Serve with mash and dinner rolls. A dinner that will bring you comfort enjoy 😊
